** A Behavior I Would Change **

One of my current behaviors that I would love to change is my procrastination I have when studying or doing homework.  This behavior first began when I went into Grade 6 and classes got slightly harder and more homework was given out.  From then on, I continued this somewhat of a ritual and still continue it.  I believe the procrastination was triggered by either my cell phone or sport activities that would take up my homework time after-school and I would be left doing my homework at the last few days before the assignment is due.  Another trigger to my procrastination would be the fact that I can never get motivated to do my homework unless my mother or father tell me to do the homework.  I think in order to get rid of this procrastination would be to offer money such as $5 if I do well on a test or project or a curfew extension.  Another solution that may work would be to temporarily take away my valuables such as my iPod or cell phone.  Once distractions are removed and an award is set I believe that I would be able to do better in school and get rid of my procrastination.
